History
The Cabine Module was developed in 2018. iR arquitectura designed the prototype. It emerged from the Hello Wood International Summer University and Festival. The project provided practical experience for architecture students.
Architecture
A modular cabin, the structure is composed of five distinct modules. These units address functions: storage, dressing, cooking, heating, and rest. Primary construction uses wood and polycarbonate. The design allows flexible configuration. Sustainable technologies are integrated: solar heating, a solar kitchen, and a Trombe wall.
Setting
The Cabine Module stands in Csóromfölde, Hungary. This rural site was a farmstead. Acacia trees, fields, and rolling hills surround the structure. Sunlight filters through the acacia canopy, marking the passage of hours. Its design integrates with the natural environment.
