History
The Cabana was completed in 2019 by Atelier LAVIT. It was prefabricated in a workshop in France. This method allowed for efficient construction on a remote site, reducing environmental impact.
Architecture
A contemporary wooden cabin, 25 m² in area. The structure utilizes Douglas pine, larch, and poplar wood with glass. Interior walls and ceilings are poplar. Chestnut wood forms the parquet. The design employs natural shading and ventilation, ensuring privacy.
Setting
The Cabana stands in the bush of a residential area in Es Cubells, along the west coast of Ibiza, Spain. It faces south, overlooking the valley and sea. Light fills the interior, integrating the structure with the island's landscape.
